Utako, as usual, is the hot-tempered bully. And i didn't know people could hold their breaths and stay underwater for more than 4 minutes just to watch rainbow corals spawn.. O_o Anyway, happy love-love ending as usual. :D

Ultra Maniac Op - Second Review

Hahaha, atleast now I can contribute something. I was on my Tita's house last Sunday, and they have CABLE! I was able to watch 4 episodes of Ultra Maniacs, And the opening rocks! I don't know who sang it, but my guess its some cute singer, with a cute voice. It actually inspired me to do an artwork, not a fanwork though. By the way, this just hit me out of nowhere, why the hell did they call the series Ultra Maniacs? The story is about witchcraft, magic and all that jazz, but why ultra maniacs? Can anybody tell me?
Truth is, I can give a freakin' reason for it, but its not factual, so all you know-it-alls out there, help me out here...

Akabane-sama is HOT.

Hevn is also Hot, but not as HOT as Dr. Jackal. Ban is as HOT as Dr. Jackal, and Ginji can be as HOT as Ban. Himiko/lady Poison is purrdee, not Hot, and Natsumi cannot ever compete with Himiko and Hevn. Ever.

That said and done, on to the review~ For some strange reason, I dont think Ban would like whatever is in that Box. o_o Ginji as an ape is kinda cute.. in a sick kind of way..

Did i mention cliffhangers are a stopper up your butt?

Get Backers episode 2 - second review
My reactions on a couple of stuffage from the second epi:

1) people ignoring Ban while he hands out the flyers/brochures/whatsits
- how COULD they??! >.<

2) on the flyers/brochures/whatsits themselves
- how'd Ban & Ginji manage to afford them? Then again nobody really takes them, so it's probably recycled. I dunno. Same goes for Ban's cigarette.

3) SD Ban & Tare!Ginji being thrown out of Honky Tonk
- meanie! >.< I'd never throw them out! I'd just place them lightly on the ground so as not to hurt their little tooshies. Was that a 'plok' sound I heard when Tare!Ginji landed?? 0.o

4) Ban & Ginji's PDOEAS faces
- I didn't know whether I should feel sorry for them or be amused. But that was really disturbing, I say.

5) Episode 2 & Poverty
- I swear, episode 2 is good PALIHAN material. XD

Aaah, the Spiral ~suiri no kizuna~ opening. I uber-love this song. Sung by Strawberry Jam. It's got SUPER GENKI plastered all over the song. XD Me love. This is one of my most fave anime music ever. I can't describe it with any other word than GENKI. Something must be wrong with my vocabulary then.. O_o Aah, the way Strawberry Jam sung Kibouhou is bursting with genkiness! It's sooo cute!

Let's All Face the Universal Hamster Truth...

Hi readers! Anki Shinzoutu here from way south. way waaaaaay south, and a few dozen kilometers east of Sydney Harbor. To say the least, Australian television (free television, anyway) has never taken its fair share of Japanese Animation. I mean, let's face it - there are well over two hundred animated series in circulation and these idiots have to take three of my non-favorites (and two semi-favorites) . First off, I'm stuck waking up to the horrible, horrible time of 7am simply to watch Crush Gear Turbo, which has very nice graphics and action, but I'm still waiting for the 'oomph' factor. After that we have Yu-Gi-Oh, which is popular, but as appealing to me as soggy cabbage. (try boiling one for longer than 10 minutes and you'll see [and smell] what I'm talking about) Switching with those two are Dragonball (GT, Z, Original, Hot and Crispy, whatever - this series has been to long in the running in my opinion, but hey, that's me...) and Pokèmon (which I actually follow, so I'll probably do reviews of that while I'm here. BUT! One particular series has managed to evade my heartless (almost) review of these animè, and that's Hamtaro.

That's right... Hamtaro. Why? Because he so damn cute.

Now, this could be the series' cuteness OR the fact that I'm desperate to award the medal to the first thing to grab my attention, but in any case I still like watching the series (it's also conveniently timed to show at 8am, wheeee...)

But who says these are the only Animè in Australia?

As the days go by I, part-time worker and full-time student Anki Shinzoutu, shall scour the western suburbs of Sydney far, wide, near and narrow, to bring you reviews on Anime, and not just Anime, but Manga and all things Jap I come across.

Oh, and if I do adopt a hamster and call him Hamtaro, ignore everything I write from that point, because it'll be pointless.

After all, what's the point of reading an anime review with value-added hamster?

Rika Gets Her Wish

Well, Rika-chan~ you wanted happy people to post on Yorokonde Review!... Guess what? I'm happy! And I'm posting! Groar! XD

Just don't expect me to do decent anime reviews though. We still don't have cable right now, thus making me the biggest loser in the history of the world for not having access to Animax. Go me. I guess I'll just be doing Jpop stuff, being the self-proclaimed jpop princess & all. Key word: self-proclaimed. Teeheehee.

Anyways, does anybody else here listen to Aya Ueto? I think she's fairly new~ I dunno~ I can't find much on her since a lot of her fan sites are in Japanese & my J-IQ is equal to that of the monoblock chair I am sitting on at the moment (meaning ZERO). But thanks to my mp3 hoarding nature, I think I've completed all the tracks in her album. Wheee~ ü Her music is a little indescribable but one way to put it is that most of them are opening/ending song material. I'm sure you get my drift. Plus, Aya's really kewt too~ XD

And Hikaru Utada did a duet with Jessa Zaragoza for the English version of First Love. Don't ask.

CLAMP Gakuen Tanteidan ep 6

The continuation of the beginnings of the Nokoru/Suoh relatioship!! Well, it *is* the start of their relationship.. I mean, it's the first time they met!! Tee hee!

What a nice "date" they had. It was a sunny afternoon, so they had Popsicles afterschool. And then they were at this huge mansion,, then they finished their "date" on a Penguin Balloon in the starry night where Suoh proposed told Nokoru that they would get married that night he'll stay with him.

Yeah. Nice "date" all right. Somehow, I'm jealous. *wink*

Akira is still clueless. Thank god. :D

Nokoru corrupts Akira's innocent mind with his feminism while Suoh shoos Akira away just so he could spent time with Nokoru alone! Eeep! I'm being evil to elementary students!! *shock* Ah well. We all know Nokoru and Suoh were meant for each other, ne? *grin*

Aaaah, CLAMP makes pretty pretty eyes... and they also make extremely wierd pairings that are more often than not "unethical" and shameful to society..

Ultra Maniac - Op/Ed Theme Review

Both songs, Kagami no Naka and Hitotsu = Unmei Kyoudoutai, were sung by can/goo. She's pretty cool. I like how she sings. She gots a pretty voice. Anyhow, the reviews.

Kagami no Naka. Perky, perky song. The TV version is a little different from the single version. I like the single better. The lyrics are pretty tho. The original starts slow then breaks into a fast beat, unlike the TV version. Meh.

Hitotsu=Unmei Kyoudoutai. Pretty, pretty song. I love this song. The TV version is just a snippet from teh original version, so i got no complaitns about that, but the original version is way way cute. It's got this jazzy-pop beat that i oh-so love. When translated, tho, the lyrics sound a little.. *ahemahem*
